I paid the price, more than once, for my weakness. And then I paid the price for that strength too, for better or for worse. Maybe you don't think the Fourth followers deserve it, but their justifications don't breed sympathy in me, Mr. Wright.
And they have no sympathy for someone who doesn't adhere to their god either. Even if their god insinuates that people like me are broken. Even before I followed the Fog, the Fourth god called me tainted just for having friends that weren't on his side.
...I'll have to live with what I've done. If other people choose not to tolerate it, they're within their rights, but...I can't take it back.
